A fund has been established at a local bank in an attempt to save the home of Dorothy Lewis, co-founder of the North Chicago Hi-Steppers drill team and past member of the North Chicago School Board. The Lake County News-Sun reported on Lewis’ plight — her home is in danger of foreclosure — in the Jan. 15 edition.
